Tenor's musical journey unveiled with a new album
On May 30 in Beijing, People's Music Publishing House unveiled My Chinese Dream, a comprehensive album set featuring the collected works of tenor Xue Haoyin, marking a significant milestone in his musical career.
The album set, encompassing four CDs, showcases a diverse range of musical genres: My Chinese Dream — Patriotic Songs, My Chinese Charm — Chinese Art Songs, My Chinese Sentiment — Original Chinese Opera and Musical Excerpts, and My Chinese Heart — Classic Foreign Opera Arias, totaling 44 tracks.
This release marks Xue's debut album set, bridging traditional and contemporary musical influences. In addition to the physical album, music enthusiasts can also enjoy the digital version on various online streaming platforms.
Since his inaugural album My Dream in 2008, Xue has graced over 40 Chinese and international opera stages, while concurrently sharing his expertise as a teacher at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing.
Reflecting on his musical journey, Xue Haoyin said: "Music is the heartbeat of my existence, not only bringing me joy and fervor but also serving as a medium to convey my love for life, pursuit of dreams, and profound affection for my homeland through the power of song."
