BAIC teams up with Denodo to accelerate digitalization

Chinese carmaker BAIC Group has partnered with Spanish company Denodo's subsidiary in Beijing to speed up its transition towards a data-driven company.

Denodo Software (Beijing) Co Ltd will utilize its data virtualization technologies to help BAIC realize its goal and boost its high-quality development, according to their deal.

BAIC, one of the most important State-owned companies in Beijing, said Denodo's expertise is instrumental in the company's goal to become a data-driven carmaker.

The deal comes as Beijing is speeding up efforts to grow into an international center of science and technology innovation and global city of digital economy.

BAIC's collaboration with Denodo will serve as an example of manufacturing companies in the capital city pursuing high-quality development with global technology, said analysts.
