FAW Jiefang Automotive Co, a subsidiary of China FAW Group, a leading automaker based in Changchun, Jilin province, recently signed an export order for 1,000 trucks with Kenyan cooperative distributor Transafrica Motors Ltd in Nairobi, capital of Kenya.

Since entering the Kenyan market in 2005, FAW Jiefang has committed to providing high-quality products and efficient and timely service support to local customers.

In the medium and heavy-duty truck sector, FAW Jiefang introduced the lightweight chassis traction product, creating popular, cost-effective models with advantages such as low fuel consumption and low self-weight.

They have accelerated the introduction of high-end products to enhance the brand's competitiveness and gradually capture the mid-to-high-end market.

In the light-duty truck sector, FAW Jiefang has launched new products that have been widely recognized by local customers for their stylish appearance, ample power and larger load capacity.

"We are committed to providing quality products and services. This has given us a competitive advantage in the Kenyan market and beyond," said Ali Zubedi, general manager of Transafrica Motors Ltd.

Leng Changchun, general manager of FAW Jiefang's overseas product line department, expressed gratitude to Transafrica Motors Ltd.

"With an exceptionally excellent sales team and after-sales service guarantee, they have provided reliable support and assistance to customers, addressing the concerns of many truck buyers," said Leng.
