A tea culture salon may be the best way to experience China's tea ceremonies and culture in overseas locations.

"Tea for Harmony" cultural salon in Bath, England on Friday was aimed at celebrating International Tea Day, which fell on May 21 and also offering participants an opportunity to experience teas and culture from Central China's Hubei province.

The delegation from the Hubei Tea Association brought three types of tea from the province to be enjoyed at the salon: Enshi Yulu, which is green tea, Yihong Black Tea, and Qingzhuan Tea, which is a dark tea.

The history of the teas on offer dates back more than 1,000 years, and the crafting techniques of Enshi Yulu and Qingzhuan Tea have become national intangible cultural heritages, according to Li Xuechuan, who led the delegation.
