Cultural extravaganza showcasing Beijing's charm enchants Rome

A captivating culture and tourism event, featuring a photography exhibition, tea tasting, and enticing travel routes from Beijing, unfolded in Rome on Monday, fostering cultural exchange and strengthening ties between the two cities.

Hosted by the Beijing government and the Chinese embassy in Italy, and executed by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the event aimed to deepen the bond between the regions. It provided local residents with a glimpse into Beijing’s urban allure, its rich historical and cultural tapestry, and the latest developments in the vibrant Chinese capital.

Alvise Santangelo, a local banker, shared his enthusiasm for the event, recalling his inaugural visit to China in 2014.
