Spanish ambassador has good perspectives for Chinese New Year

Rafael Dezcallar, ambassador of Spain to China, arrived in China in 2018 and finds the country infinite.

He lauds the great progress China has made over the past four decades and the important role of the country in solving global issues such as climate change and sustainability, and expects more cooperation between China and Spain, as well as the European Union, in the future.

Noting that both Spain and China are great cultures of the world, Dezcallar says that he has very good perspectives for the coming holiday season of the Chinese New Year and his country is preparing the tourism sector to welcome Chinese tourists better.

“Chinese tourists in Spain are very appreciated, because they are of high cultural level and high education,” he says.
